Governor of Nyeri in Kenya, Wahome Gakuru who was traveling to Nairobi for a talk show on Inooro TV died in a ghastly motor accident in Kabati on the Thika-Kenol highway.
The governor and his driver were rushed to Thika Level 5 Hospital and were set to be flown to Nairobi Hospital for further treatment before he gave up the ghost.

FG to ban private practice by doctors in Public service
The Federal Government has started the process that will lead to stopping doctors in public service from engaging in private practice.
The Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, who briefed State House Correspondents alongside his Labour and Productivity counterpart, Chris Ngige, said this was the decision of the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.

Nine dead, 80 others injured in Kabul car bomb attack
At least nine people were killed when a suicide car bomb exploded in Kabul’s diplomatic district on Wednesday morning.
The explosion took place near Zanbaq square, in the Afghanistan capital, near where many countries’ diplomatic missions are based.
