FASHION FOCUSING ON ANKARA

              
Ankara was formerly known as Dutch wax print. It was originally manufactured by the Dutch for the Indonesian textile market. But, by mistake or design, these prints garnered significantly more interest in West African than in Indonesia. Recognizing this opportunity, the Dutch decided to focus on West Africa. As such
, the prints changed to reflect African culture and lifestyle more. African print was henceforth born

THE MODERN TWIST TO ROCKING ANKARA FABRICS
Gone are those days where all we could make with the fabric were conventional dresses to attend Church, weddings and what’s not. These days you can sew them into any and everything including pencil skirts, trousers, crop tops, jackets, jumpsuits, pant suits and even swimwear.
What’s more interesting is that you can now mix various Ankara prints to create a particular look/ outfit. If that’s not super cool, then I don’t know what is.
The revamped way of rocking Ankara has made it one of, if not the most used fabric both locally and internationally.
