Daniel Entony Daberechukwu has been charged in court for purportedly assaulting a 19-yearight-old grounds magnificence, Miss United States International University Africa (USIU), Nneka Enyantu Obi.
Daniel denied assaulting Nneka. The suspect is said to have conferred the offense on March 19, 2017,after the complainant went to a companion's introduction to the world day party at Thika Road Mall where the denounced was in participation.
Police charge that every one of the companions going to the gathering were drinking liquor and appreciating the music until 11pm when they exchanged clubs around the grounds. The court heard that around 1.30am, the complainant and Daniel left for the inn. .
It is then that Daniel supposedly offered to escort Nneka to her room since she was excessively inebriated. Police affirm that he began kissing her along the halls. It is accounted for that as opposed to taking her to the room, he took her to his room. .
She woke up to end up on his bed, while Daniel was on the floor. It wasn't until she contacted her room that she understood her undies was missing and her privates were in agony. .
Daniel has since denied the charge and was sans set on Sh500,000 bond and requested to store his international ID in court. The matter seeks hearing on June 9, 2017. Crdt: SDE
